The Art of GTing
Now some of you may be wondering what GTing is. Well I'll try to explain.
GT Snowracer: (noun) a modified toboggan with three skies and one of which is capable of turning the sled...sort of.
First off, you take a GT snowracer...
...then you find a large snow cover hill and build massive jumps (a pile of snow that you hit at light speed and get launched into the great beyond) on it.
Then attack the jump!! Below is Jeremy hitting it, with a vengeance!
If you look close you will see the look of possible fatality in his eyes. More than once my life has flashed before my eyes as I launch into the air...
Below is Steve (me duh) doing a look-back, or look-to-the-side I guess...
a failed attemp at a heel-clicker...
a failed attemp at a Superman...
So anyway, we got bored of that jump and, being inspired from watching the Aerials from the 06 Winter Games, we decided to build or own Aerials jumps...
The larger of the two is for pure height and you have to hit it with as much speed as possible. The smaller one is for style and fun. You hit the first jump we made, land it and then hit that one at the bottom of the hill.
Below Andrew launches so high that he goes out of the screen.
An attemp at a Headbutt. That's when you headbutt your front ski in mid air...
Thats all for now. But stay tuned for more GT Snowracer action with those crazy guys from Alliston.
