So I'm back. Summer is finally over so I now have a few moments to post. First off, for the record I have to say that Sarah and Lee's wee baby is the cutes baby IN THE WORLD!! well, at least until I have kids...with wee mohawks....driving wee race cars....so cute!

YA camping was a hoot! We went UP NORTH to Six Mile Lake to git er dun! A great group of people, great weather, great food...good times! Up and at'em Jon!
Notice me and Jon are both doing the Captain Morgan pose...
We went over to Whites Falls, about 5 minutes from the camp ground, to bask in the sun and drownd in the rapids, er, swim in the rapids. There is a dam there, to control the level of the lake I guess, and a bridge for cars to cross. So here we are swimming in the dam rapids with sharp dam rocks underneath the dam water that liked the make tiny cuts on your feet. Ok, see that rapid just behind the people and to the left? The one making the big splash? ya, you could actually climb in behind the rapid against the rock, and still breath!! Sweet!
Nicole and Linda found out that you could go behind the actual dam water fall. Below is Thomas finding his way in. (photo courtesy of Nicole's nifty water proof camera)
And here we are jumping off the dam bridge. About 25 feet (2 story's). Some guy tried to do a double flip but didn't make it and landed on his back!! Judging by the look on his face when he surfaced, it hurt a lot!!! Notice John Bergers perfect form...
A good splash here...the rest are getting ready to jump from the dam bridge. The graffiti is funny eh. Notice Noel boasting about how this dam bridge isn't really very high compared to the ones in Argentina....
This leaf note, note leaf, leaflet!! below was left on the guys campsite picnic table. Some girls were checking me and Jon Long out again. We need body guards or something, this is out of control!!
Now on to Omasfest 06. Omasfest is a celebration of my brother Thomas' birthday, and it falls on the same weekend as our small hick town festival, the Alliston Potato Festival. So we pitched tents in the back yard....
...and along came the crowd. A bunch of TACFer's make the journey and of course the local rif-raf (my cousins) stumbled over for the bonfire in the evening.
The organizers of Omasfest built a redneck water slid thingy. It was good and crazy. Slightly dangerous of course, as most redneck creations are. Notice the look of possible injury on Marcels face....
Ya I know, I look like a flippin seal...shut up.
Now on to my new car! Here it is!! 04 Subaru Impreza WRX STi. Yes that is a lot of letters, get over it! I just noticed that in one of my previous post called My Wish List, number 3 on the list is this very car! cool eh!
This is totally a God thing. I wasn't even considering getting this car! Cause it was to nice for me, hahaha. I got totally blindsided by it! It just goes to show that Daddy God wants to give his kids the absolute best!! Its a long story how it all happened, to long to post here, but it all just came together somehow. The fact that I was approved for credit and insurance is a miracle in itself. A 25 year old guy in a 300hp street legal rally car. hmmmm.
So ya, I did a heap of races with it already, amateur level of course cause its not race prepared (ie. roll cage, fuel cell, blah blah). 2 days after I got it was the first race, haha. I've done really really well to. Next year I'm going full on and hopefully will win the championship. weee
And there's a bunch of gravel rally type events coming up soon and I'm pumped about it. I heard there is a snow rally series this winter that I'm looking into. I'll post more later on.
